Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by Gleam Local SEO (“we,” “us,” “our”). By purchasing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Covered

These Terms apply to the following packages:

  • DIY Hands On – Local SEO training sessions
  • DIY Hands Free – AI-assisted Local SEO package (affiliate-based)
  • Fully Managed – Done-for-you Local SEO management

Add-on services such as Citation Management and Fresh Start packages will have their own specific terms if purchased.

2. Payments & Billing

  • DIY Hands On: Payment of £99 is due in advance via Stripe. Includes three live, one-hour remote training sessions. Additional training can be booked at £40 per hour, also payable via Stripe in advance.
  • DIY Hands Free: Subscription fee of $99/month is paid directly to Merchynt via their platform. Gleam Local SEO does not process or control these payments. Eligibility for the free setup session depends on purchase through our affiliate link (see Section 3).
  • Fully Managed: Payment of £199 per month is due in advance via Stripe on our website.

3. DIY Hands Free – Affiliate Requirement

From time to time, we may offer free setup when you purchase the DIY Hands Free Package using our affiliate link.

To qualify for this offer “the DIY Hands Free package you must:

  • Be a UK citizen operating a local business in the UK.
  • Purchase the product “Paige” by Merchynt through our affiliate link.

If the affiliate link does not allocate us commission (e.g., you previously visited Merchynt via another link or directly), you are not entitled to the free one-hour setup session.

4. Refunds & Cancellations

  • DIY Hands On: If you cancel after paying, you will be refunded for unused time, rounded up to the nearest 30 minutes.
  • Fully Managed: If cancelled mid-month, you will be charged for the remaining days of that month. Refunds follow the same rules as DIY Hands On. Service continues until the end of the last paid period.
  • DIY Hands Free: As payments are made directly to Merchynt, Gleam Local SEO cannot issue refunds. Once the free setup session is delivered, it is final.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • You must provide access to your Google Business Profile within 7 days of purchase.
  • If you do not yet have a GBP, this period is extended to 14 days.
  • For Fully Managed clients: if you are unable to gain access to your Google Business Profile, we will not charge you.
  • You must provide accurate and complete business information. We are not responsible for incorrect or misleading information provided by you.
  • DIY Hands On clients must attend scheduled training sessions.
  • We recommend that DIY Hands Free clients should review and approve or edit AI-generated content weekly.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • We will deliver our services with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as top rankings, traffic volumes, or revenue.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, business opportunities, or reputation.
  • Our total liability will not exceed the fees paid by you for the service in the relevant billing period.

7. Termination

We may terminate your service immediately if you fail to pay, breach these Terms, or act in a way that prevents us from delivering the service.

You may terminate at any time in line with the refund rules in Section 4.

On termination, all services will cease at the end of the paid period.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All training materials, templates, and processes provided by Gleam Local SEO remain our intellectual property and may not be copied, redistributed, or resold.
  • You retain full ownership of your Google Business Profile, website, business data, and content created specifically for your business.
  • Any training materials are licensed for your business use only.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

We respect your privacy and handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you agree to the terms of that policy.

10. Disclaimer

Local SEO results vary depending on factors outside our control, including competition, customer reviews, market conditions, and changes to Google’s algorithms. Services are provided on a “best efforts” basis, and no specific outcomes are guaranteed.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
